Kool April Nites -- What a BLAST

We had the best time at the 20th annual Kool April Nites classic car show this year. So many wonderful people, including those who participate on the blog regularly (and many other readers), came by to wish us the best and to support LTWC with their fundraising efforts. How well did it turn out? Check out Li'l Smokeys blog for updates. We have to give special thanks to the people who made this a reality. Thanks to Sue Horst for her wonderful idea that got the whole ball rolling (and for making the fantastic "Remembering Li'l Smokey" video). Her husband Gary was the technical genious who made sure all of the components for the booth were properly constructed. Denise Brown and Linda McKenzie rounded out the A-team that organized and pulled off the event. Special thanks also goes out to some of our corporate sponsors who made our booth look and feel so fantastic. Denise's husband John, who works for Aramark in redding, donated tablecloths, tables and floor mats to keep our feet from melting in the heat. Smitty's Heating and Cooling donated a table for us to use. This was a fantastic team effort. We are so thankful to have a such a wonderful group of loving people around to keep Li'l Smokeys memory alive.
