One Year Anniversary!
Friday, July 17, 2009 at 1:43PM It was one year ago today that I met the little bear who changed my life forever. Celeste and I never imagined that things would turn out like they have. What an amazing adventure it has been. We are so fortunate to have met hundreds of animal lovers, from all over. We feel like we have a new extended family. Thanks everyone for all your love, support and encouragement over the last year.

Adam and Celeste - it was so exciting to meet you both in person at our 1st Annual Lil Smokey reunion! Hubby Tom and I had a great time. It was awesome to have met the family and Tom and Cherly from LTWC and most of the Lil Smokey 'Family' last weekend. There were plenty of tears, smiles and laughs and lots of hugs. All because of one badly burnt bear cub that you rescued and named Lil Smokey. That little bear has really touched so many lives and our hearts, and it was all because you cared enough to risk picking him and saving him. THANK YOU! God Bless you and your family.
Also have to tell you that I LOVEd the book! And so did my friend Ann when I gave her the copy you signed for her. Again, thank you both. Can't wait till the grandkids their copy.

We followed the story all during real time happening last year. It is an ispiring story. we purchased the book to share with our two grandchildren ages 3 and 5. They love bear stories. Thanks again for all the love and care you show for our wildlife.
