First Annual Li'l Smokey Reunion
Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 8:25PM Well we are back from an amazing weekend in South Lake Tahoe. We are still trying to catch up from being gone. We were only out a few days but everything has piled up! We are keeping up with orders, though, so you should all be getting any books you have ordered very soon. I wanted to share some of the photos I took at the event. I am embarrassed to say that I spent so much time talking that I didn't pull out my camera. Here is what I have. Enjoy.

I love the px. I couldn't make it to the reunion, I just hope there is a 2nd one next year so I can try to come. It sounds like everyone had such a wonderful time I'm really sorry I missed it. Thanks for all you did for Li'l Smokey. I can't believe what one little bear has accomplished.

I had such an awesome time at the reunion! It was such a pleasure meeting you, Celeste and Tom and Cheryl and all the wonderful volunteers at LTWC! I feel like I am still floating on a cloud!
Good luck on the sale of the book. It is awesome! It will be great for kids (of ALL ages) to learn about your story and what can be accomplished by loving and caring for animals. Especially a badly burned liittle bear cub that was rescued by you and cared for by Lake Tahoe Wildnerss Care center. He has touched so many of our hearts. (leaky eyes and all!) He will always remain so special to all of us. We enjoyed watching him heal and grow and become a FIERCE bear - but we are so glad that he is finally FREE - the way he was MEANT to be! We love you Lil Smokey!
Adam and Celeste, We had a wonderful time getting to meet you at the reunion. We are loving the book and the l'il smokey bear. Adam, it is amazing how much you and Rick look alike......I have great pics on my facebook and you are welcome to them as well. Hope you have a wonderful summer. all my best, suellen
