Overload!

Wow, we knew that people were excited about the book, but we have been a little taken aback at the pace of orders. Thanks so much to everyone who has already placed an order, the first batch shipped out today. In answer to many questions, YES, we are going to bring lots of books to the Li'l Smokey reunion (as well as some of the Li'l Smokey plush toys).  In case you want to meet us in person, check out the "Calendar" link at the top of the website. Thanks again for all the kind words. We are having a very difficult time thanking and responding to people so please don't think we are ignoring you.

We live in Igo. Last summer was horrific with fires, evacuations, etc. In the mist of all the smoke, losses, and tragedy it brightened our general outlook to know that a fireman rescued a little 8 pound bear. We watched television and followed his improvement on television often. I was so pleased to notice that the rescue fireman had created a book of "Lil Smokey". I ordered one (for my grandaughter). But first, my husband age 71 read the book to me as a nightime story (I'm 68). It was a delightful little story and quite touching. In our troubled world the story was a breath of fresh air. I recommend the book for everyone, young and old!
