Costco Kickoff Event

As some of you may have heard, we have signed a deal to allow our book to be offered in any west coast Costco. To kick things off, we will be at the Redding Costco, on Dana Drive, Saturday October 24th from 11-4. Ryan, our illustrator, will also be there to meet people and sign books. We look forward to seeing you there!

Wow, what an amazing event we had at Costco. For starters, everyone there was so accommodating. They gave us a priority location: right where everyone comes in (by the Halloween candy and the good alcohol!). The staff also did everything they could to make us feel at home. They even took the Li'l Smokey banner that Sue made and placed it over the main entrance! It was great, we sold over 100 books. It was our best book signing since our premiere event back in July. Special thanks to Greg from Costco who made it all possible.

Hey everyone, the wonderful people out at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area will be hosting us at their visitors center this Saturday, October 10th from 1-2:30. Come and hear the story for yourselves. We will be there, along with our Illustrator Ryan M. Lamb and we look forward to seeing you.

Rescue Animals In Need (RAIN) First Annual Mountain Animal and Art Faire

Join us for a full day of food, fun, music and activities as we help raise funds for this great organization. We will be there, along with Ryan (and our four-legged children) to meet people and sign books. There are a lot of great things to see and do. Located along the shores of scenic Lake McCumber in Shingletown, just a short 40 minute drive east of Redding. We look forward to seeing you all there.

With the book finished and printed it was high time for a celebration. Ryan and his family came over to help us commemorate what has been almost a year in the making. It has been a long road, and there were many times when we thought it was not going to happen. But here we are! We will announce a sale date very soon, stay tuned.
